Using our best estimations for the size and speed of the asteroid (much is still unknown about this asteroid), Wolfram|Alpha can calculate what the asteroid impact would be if it did actually make it to Earth (there is virtually no chance that it will). With these numbers, the asteroid would start breaking up 6.6 miles above the Earth’s surface, and then explodes at 3 miles above the surface.
The Wall Street Journal posted an article describing the need for internet users to protect themselves with stronger login passwords.
"PayPal says two out of three people use just one or two passwords across all sites, with Web users averaging 25 online accounts. A 2009 survey in the U.K. by security-software company PC Tools found men to be particularly bad offenders, with 47% using just one password, compared with 26% of women."
